Pre-primary — Nursery, Jr KG, Sr KG
The year a child learns to like school. Short periods, a lot of movement, and no written homework.

Primary — Std 1 to Std 4
The years that decide whether a child reads for pleasure or reads with effort. Fluency comes first.

Upper primary — Std 5 to Std 7
Subject teachers take over. Children start keeping their own notes and meeting their own deadlines.

Board years. Extra practice sessions in school hours, and honest guidance about what comes after Std 10.

Marks are a signal, not a verdict.
Children are checked often and quietly, so that a gap is found in the week it appears rather than at the end of a term.
- Weekly class tests, not announced as exams
- Two terminal examinations a year
- Oral and reading assessment for every language
- Written report plus a face-to-face parent meeting
- Remedial batch for anyone below the class average
8:30 in, 4:30 out.

Sport
Kabaddi, kho-kho, cricket and athletics, with inter-school participation each year.
Art and music
Drawing grade examinations, singing, and rehearsals for the annual gathering.
