Home / About
A school built by this town, for its children.
Who we are, what we are trying to do, and the people who do it.
It started with a simple gap.
Families in and around Muktainagar wanted English-medium schooling without sending a seven-year-old on a long bus ride to a city. Balvishwa was set up to close that distance.
The name says what we are for. बालविश्व — a child's universe. Everything on this campus is arranged around the child in the middle of it.

Vision
That a child from a Marathi-speaking home in this taluka can walk into any classroom in the country and hold their own.
Mission
- Teach English well enough to be used, not just passed.
- Keep Marathi strong at the same time.
- Catch a struggling child in the month it starts, not in March.
- Keep fees within reach of a farming or salaried household.
“Send us a child who is shy in English in June. Come back in April and listen to them read.”
— ____________, Principal
Four habits we hold ourselves to.
Nobody is written off
A weak result triggers a plan and a parent meeting, not a label.
Parents are told early
Attendance, behaviour or marks — you hear it from the class teacher first.
Discipline without fear
Clear rules, consistently applied. No corporal punishment, at any age.
The town is part of the school
Festivals, sports meets and gatherings stay open to families and neighbours.
Who will be teaching your child.
